The story of Anteo

The name of the company derives from Anteo, the giant of Greek mythology, symbol of great power and strength.
Over the past 20 years, high growth in sales of the product in domestic and foreign markets has helped to distinguish and raise awareness of the Anteo brand worldwide.
In January 2014, Anteo celebrated its 45th birthday. On this occasion, the new logo was established to reflect the prestige, strength, excellence, technology and reliability of the brand and the values that the company expresses in Italy and abroad – A World Class Company.

1969 saw the birth of Anteo, which was founded and structured to produce bespoke hydraulic cylinders, designed and made to clients’ specifications.

The company’s name comes from Antaeus, a giant in Greek mythology who represented great strength and power.

In 1992 after more than twenty years of success, Anteo launched a new range of tail lifts for road haulage together with a fresh logo.

Years of experience in the hydraulic sector combined with effective commercial strategies, modern technology and a passionate desire for quality has resulted in the worldwide success achieved by the company today.

In January 2014 Anteo celebrated its 45th birthday. To coincide with this happy event, the company introduced a new, updated logo to reflect the prestige, strength, excellence, technology and reliability which characterise Anteo and the values it represents in Italy and abroad – A World Class Company.
